My mom told me not to join Indian army
Hi my name is kaushal I am 25 year old, a computer science graduate currently jobless and owner of the site.
So when I was kid around 7 years old, I was influenced by the military movies and the indian army and always wanted to join Indian army from that time.
When someone in house friends or family members asked what you want to do when you pass class 10th I used to happily reply them by smiling I would join Indian army and fight against terrorists.
My mom used to just smile she never ever argued with me at that time why you want to join Indian army seek other career opportunities or else.
So I was all focused and ready for Indian army and I was prepared mentally that I would pass class 10 and join Indian army by the age 17 and continue my study and get Graduate and apply for promotion or for officer rankings.
But after passing class tenth when I was preparing for the Indian army she just came and told me don't join army, who ever joins Indian army he dies. I told her there are many soldiers who have joined and are still serving.
She told no means no take science and become software engineer or else she won't talk with me and stop eating food.
That was the day when I changed my goal from joining Indian army to become software engineer and still I am looking for job and yet to find one. It is well said where your interest is anyone you would find yourself there, and where you don't have interest you won't find a way.
But now my current situation was worst I need to go under surgery at the age of 25 was diagnosed by some chronic tuberculosis and there was tumor present in pancreas.
While we were getting treated out treatment was so costly that I had in my mind dying is only one way.
But we found our way from it and got my self treated at the military hospital free of cost. The treatment outside would cost me more than what I would have earn in 20 years. Today my moms eyes were filled with tears she told me I am sorry and I was wrong please join Indian army.
Now surgery is done I am on bed rest with no option then to prepare for Indian army and follow my interest if I am eligible I would join Indian army for sure.
